The School

Our School Creed

'This is our School
Let peace dwell here
Let love abide here
Love of one another
Love of life itself
And love of God
Let us remember
That as many hands build a house
So many hearts make a school
Amen'

Our Mission Statement

"To help children learn about the changing world in which they live by providing a caring, secure and stimulating learning environment in which all members of the school community are valued and respected in accordance with a Christian ethos."

Our School aims to:

- Provide a curriculum that has breadth, balance, continuity and relevance in today's changing world, in line with the requirements of the National Curriculum.
- Provide an education, which is suited, to each pupil's age, ability and aptitude, irrespective of gender, race or disability.
- Provide a warm, caring atmosphere in which each child can develop their individual skills and maximise their potential.
- Promote a feeling of confidence and worth, so that each child is happy to learn from failures as well as successes.
- Help children develop personal, spiritual and moral values and to foster respect for others.
- Encourage all parents to be actively involved in their child's education.
- Help each of our children to become confident and independent members of society.
- Learn the value of the Christian ethos and respect for other religions.
